Embroidery Digitizing

Embroidery digitizing is the intricate process of converting artwork into a format compatible with embroidery machines. This specialized file type (.EMB, .DST) requires advanced software and the expertise of a skilled digitizer to ensure precision and quality.

At Wescan, we are committed to delivering digitizing that reflects the excellence of your brand. Our experienced designers use the latest digitizing software to meticulously tailor your design to the specific fabrics and materials being embroidered.

Why Is Embroidery Digitizing Necessary?

Embroidery digitizing is an essential step in transforming your logo or artwork into a stitch-ready format that embroidery machines can understand. Unlike printing, where an image is simply transferred onto a surface, embroidery involves stitching the design directly into the fabric.

To do this, your artwork needs to be converted into a special file type that tells the embroidery machine exactly how to stitch the design—right down to the number of stitches, the direction of each stitch, and how the colors are applied. This conversion process is known as digitizing.

Without digitizing, your design can’t be accurately replicated by the embroidery machine. It’s what ensures your final embroidered product looks sharp, professional, and true to your original design.

Please note, our digitizing services are exclusively available for customers who choose to have their embroidery done with us. We do not offer digitized files for independent use.
